What part do you (as a founder) hate most when dealing with investors?

What I hate most: It takes forever from the initial contact to wiring the money…

  • When they say “You should do X” where X is something buzzwordy and usually unrelated to the current product or business plan.

    • If they show up late to a meeting you should cut them off. Your time is just as valuable as theirs is. By arriving late, they’re showing you disrespect. I highly doubt that they would show up late to a meeting with Mark Zuckerberg or any of the other big name founders.

  • I have seen many investors dismiss markets they don’t know anything about. Instead of asking what the potential is they assume if they don’t know the market then it isn’t worth knowing about.
