3. MailChimp Competitor - Constant Contact
Constant Contact comes in at number 3 on our list. Customer Contact is not called “the Helping One” for nothing as they’re always trying to make their platform more user friendly and educate users through a variety of resources.
Constant Contact has plenty of options for the essential things from learning material to an extensive email template library. The platform integrates very well with social media, has event management tools, and a nice app that will allow you to organize all of your contacts into a single master list.

They offer a 60-day free, no questions asked trial period, and their plans start at around $20. The rates will go up as you get more subscribers and depending on the number of emails you send per day.

4. MailChimp.com Alternative - GetResponse
Next up, we have GetResponse, which is another great email automation and marketing tool that will be a great MailChimp alternative if you’re looking for something cheap packed with great features.
GetResponse is one of the best tools out there for the value and it is great if you’re looking for a tool that offers a lot of customization options. It’s very user friendly and gives you everything that you would need from an email marketing platform.
The platform's customization options allow brands to really have their own voice and stay consistent instead of trying to work around the tool to get an approximation of what they want.
GetResponse doesn’t have a free option, however, but you’ll have the chance to use it for free for 30 days.
What About Features?
One of the best things about GetResponse is how mobile responsive their templates are. They also have tons of templates to choose from, an easy to use email creator, and a user-friendly landing page tool as well.
In addition, it has great A/B testing options, a lead nurturing CRM, advanced segmentation options, and more.
What About Pricing?

5. Mail Chimp Alternative - MailerLite
MailerLite comes at number four on our list, and its rich set of features could be just the help your SME needed to grow and thrive.
MailerLite is one of the easiest email marketing platforms on the planet, has tons of great templates, top of the line customer support, and all the tools you would need to run an effective email marketing campaign.
What About the Features?
Like we just mentioned, MailerLite is full of great features that will help you set clear marketing goals and meet them. It has a user-friendly file manager, great editing tools, and a great subscriber management function that allows you to see which of your subscribers you should concentrate your efforts on or ignore.
With MailerLite, you also get a pop-up and landing page builder as well as a few embeddable web forms. Then you have the classic email automation tools and integrations. Their customer service will be here to help 24/7, whether it’s through live chat or phone.
What About Pricing?
There is a point for MailerLite being one of, if not the highest, value for money alternatives for MailChimp you can find on the market. That’s because of the large number of options it offers for a low price.
Prices on paid plans start at $10 per month, which allows for 12.000 emails per month for up to 1000 subscribers. You should know that MailerLite has a totally free option. However, you also should know that it’s very limited. The worst is that there is no customer support on their free plan. But, as a whole, MailerLite is a great option for people who want to be able to send lots of emails per month at a reasonable price and delivery rate.

6. Mailchimp Alternative - AWeber
AWeber is a great alternative if you're using a lot of different tools and are looking for a platform that can integrate them easily.

AWeber has lots of great automation tools, as well as a pretty solid HTML email template library. They have great analytic tools as well and a great mobile app that allows you to access and manage your campaigns from wherever you are. AWeber makes sending bulk email easy and has great segmentation tools.
The platform has tons of other options and is a great tool for people who are trying to build engagement and be able to track it using different tracking tools. However, we have to say that importing data on AWeber can be a hassle, so that’s not this tool's strongest suit.
What About Pricing?
AWeber doesn’t have a free forever plan; however, it offers a full 30-day free trial period that allows you to try all of the tool’s features. Note that they charge per subscriber, and plans start at $19 for 500 subscribers.
You can choose to be charged annually or quarterly, depending on what works best for you. You also have the chance to change your plan whenever you want, and AWeber’s stellar customer service will be more than happy to help.

FAQs related to MailChimp alternatives:
Who are Mailchimp's competitors?
During my research I came across this list:
ActiveCampaign
MailerLite
Sendinblue
Getresponse
Constant Contact
AWeber
This list will change over time due to new competitors emerging and some existing ones either going out of business or being bought. Visit our page to see the most up to date list.
Is there a free version of Mailchimp?
Yes, up to 2000 subscribers, this is really good as for small business operating on a small budget. Statistically most attempts at email marketing never reach 2000 subscribers so MailChimp is a good place to start, you can migrate to a more comprehensive service at a later date if you need.

At the time of writing, I recommend SendInBlue, they are an all round better service provider in most categories, but it really depends on your needs and goals. In my guide to MailChimp alternatives I outline many more and the reasons you may want to choose them.
