After a long year+ of struggles setbacks & bootstrapping. Finally finished a strong beta prototype.

Still have a few quirks and missing the landing page and the front end explanatory content of the app. But it works great & UI design is good.

Now completely out of money, burned out from running on fumes for so long, havent launched it yet while having to find a new developer to bring on board. The first was a paid contractor of a company that has been with me from the beginning but moved to a new country due to firm acquisition and is completely bogged down with work from the new job and not available for much more than questions.

I need money to live and finish the front-end as I mentioned and cover expenses of new users. Besides money, the isolation while working for so long has drained me severely.

Do I go get a corporate job and work on my startup after hrs? Do I make another attempt to apply to accelerators? Do I go the kickstarter route? Do I go get angel money? Do I go get a tech cofounder?

  • I’m in a very similar boat. I started a second business… Hahaha. The good news is that it relates to my primary. If you’re out, how like badly out are you? Like driving uber 3 days a week won’t do it? Or is there a way you can contract odd jobs to get through? Or if you launch it, can you spend 4-6 weeks sending it to your customers?

  • OP here. Yes I’ve tested demand & feedback is very positive & there are a few verticals as well. Financially I’m tapped (struggling to keep housing & food) which has just worn me down psychologically. I cant focus much on this next phase, which really I need a huge amount of mental energy, when I’m so broke.
