What are your thoughts on startups using Blackhat techniques for SEO?

We see the news quite often and once in a while that startups actually use black hat techniques to get them ranked high on Google. There are even cases where big companies such as T-Mobile, Expedia, and RapGenius using these techniques. What are your opinions on this?

  • I agree. Don’t black hat Google. They are smart. Black hat users. They’re dumb as rocks. At a minimum ask them for their password so you can spam their contacts. They don’t know what’s coming. All the well known startups do this. They just don’t like to admit it.
