There are more lows than highs at this stage…good things around the corner? Back to work.

  • “Keep moving forward” — Walt Disney

Most success stories are the result of continual pursuit in the face of any and all obstacles. If your product isn’t ready, keep at it and take every opportunity to talk to people. It helps more than hurts and will give you assurance (and hopefully reward) on some level. Talking to customers/peers is great medicine. If it’s more bad then good over time, maybe you need to find a pivot with what works.

  • As much as I would like to say “things will get better”. Sometimes they won’t. Take stock and ask yourself if you were someone else who knows what you know now, would he/she still tell you that? I soldiered on an idea (that I still think is great) but came to the realization that the market just wasn’t ready and took a long break after folding the company. The break allowed my mind to accept new ideas – ideas that are now much more viable and profitable.
