How well can startups use data to grow?

We keep hearing about the promises of data in business. I’m just curious, how many startups on here are actively collecting data, and how do you use it? What sort of platforms are worth investing in (time and/or money) to get and analyze data?

Or is this something off the radar for really early stagers (like myself)? Any of you more mature startups start using it down the road?

  • I know some local startups that are (at least trying) to leverage data for funnel analysis. But these are tech-heavy startups already, so probably skewed toward that type of thing.

    Curious as well, are others doing similar? Maybe goals?
