Beginning to think my startup is worthless/irrelavent/useless. In the beginning I was really hyped and saw the vision for this company. Now I’m still in development, but I’m starting to doubt myself and thinking maybe I should quit.

Aww why the gloom? Is the development taking too long/complicated or has the feedback you gotten from potential customers changed your mind?

If it’s something you would use, build it for your yourself.

Feel free to share your idea here or on reddit and ask for people’s opinions, maybe that would give you an idea.

I think everybody goes through this regardless what you are working on. Even Google founders have been looking for a buyer to sell for $1MM in the early days so they could move on.

You should still be able to release and see whether it leads somewhere. If you never release, you will never know.

Do you even know how this site works? The OP’s post is a confession. If you still can’t figure out why the post exists, I’d suggest doing everyone a favor by removing yourself from the startup community.

    Perhaps removing the reply feature is something to recommend to the site creators–not by being a jerk to someone who needs to use the confession feature. HerpDerp.

The reply feature on confessions is optional. No need to remove it. Users on a similar journey appreciate outside feedback on their internal mindset. Many people are thinking the same thing at some point. If you cant appreciate the interaction, move on. SA is not for you.

If you have customers, go to your good ones and have a catch up beer. Listen to what they like about your offering. Recognize they are paying for offering. Listen for the problems you are solving with them. you will feel their need and get inspired.
